यां यामिच्छेत्‌ तनुं देव: कर्तु कार्यविधौ क्वचित्‌ । तां तां कुर्याद्‌ विकुर्वाण: स्वयमात्मानमात्मना,परमात्मा कार्यसाधनके लिये जिस-जिस शरीरको धारण करना चाहते हैं, उसे कार्य करते समय स्वयं ही प्रकट कर लेते हैं

yāṁ yām icchet tanuṁ devaḥ kartuṁ kārya-vidhau kvacit | tāṁ tāṁ kuryād vikurvāṇaḥ svayam ātmānam ātmanā ||

కార్యసాధనార్థం దేవుడు ఎప్పుడెప్పుడు ఏ ఏ దేహాన్ని ధరించదలచుకుంటాడో, అప్పుడప్పుడే తన స్వశక్తితో తానే తనను వికుర్చించి ఆ రూపంగా ప్రత్యక్షమగును.
