Atithi-satkāra and the Consolation of Wise Counsel (अतिथिसत्कारः प्रज्ञानवचनस्य च पराश्वासनम्)

धाम सारो हि भूतानाम्‌ ऋतं चैव विचारितम्‌ । ऋतधथामा ततो विप्रै: सद्यक्चाहं प्रकीर्तित:

dhāma sāro hi bhūtānām ṛtaṃ caiva vicāritam | ṛtadhāmā tato vipraiḥ sadyak cāhaṃ prakīrtitaḥ ||

సర్వ ప్రాణుల ‘ధామ’ యొక్క సారమే ఋతం—సత్యధర్మనియమం—అని విచారించి నిర్ధారించారు. అందుచేత, ఓ బ్రాహ్మణులారా, నేను ‘ఋతధామా’—ఋతంలో నివాసమున్నవాడు—అని యథార్థంగా కీర్తింపబడుతున్నాను.
