Atithi-prāpti and the Brāhmaṇa’s Deliberation on Triadic Dharma (अतिथिप्राप्तिः धर्मत्रयविचारश्च)

सप्तैते मानसा: प्रोक्ता ऋषयो ब्रह्मण: सुता: । स्वयमागततविज्ञाना निवृत्तिं धर्ममास्थिता:,“सन, सनत्सुजात, सनक, सनन्दन, सनत्कुमार, कपिल तथा सातवें सनातन--ये सात ऋषि भी ब्रह्माके मानस पुत्र कहे गये हैं। इन्हें स्वयं विज्ञान प्राप्त है और ये निवृत्तिधर्ममें स्थित हैं

saptaite mānasāḥ proktā ṛṣayo brahmaṇaḥ sutāḥ | svayam āgatavijñānā nivṛttiṁ dharmam āsthitāḥ ||

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—ఈ ఏడుగురు బ్రహ్మదేవుని మానసపుత్రులైన ఋషులుగా ప్రకటింపబడ్డారు. వీరిలో స్వయంగా జ్ఞానం ఉదయించింది; వీరు నివృత్తిధర్మంలో, అంటే సంన్యాసమార్గంలో, స్థితులై ఉన్నారు.
