कालोपपन्नेन तदा स्वाद्धन्नेना भ्यतर्पयन् । उन्होंने पाद्य, अर्घ्ध आदि निवेदन करके उत्तम विधिसे शुकदेवजीका पूजन किया और उन्हें समयानुकूल स्वादिष्ठ अन्न भोजन कराकर पूर्णतः तृप्त किया
kālopapannena tadā svādu-annenābhyatarpayat | pādya-arghyādi-nivedanena ca uttama-vidhinā śukadevaṃ pūjayām āsa, kālānukūlena svādiṣṭānnena bhojayitvā paritoṣayām āsa |
అప్పుడు ఆయన పాద్యము, అర్ఘ్యము మొదలైన సత్కారాలను సమర్పించి ఉత్తమ విధానంతో శుకదేవుని పూజించాడు; కాలానుగుణమైన రుచికరమైన అన్నాన్ని భుజింపజేసి ఆయనను పూర్తిగా తృప్తిపరిచాడు.
