अन्न ते वर्तयिष्यामि जन्मयोगफलं तथा । शुकस्याग्रयां गतिं चैव दुर्विदामकृतात्मभि:

Transliteration

anna te vartayiṣyāmi janmayogaphalaṃ tathā | śukasyāgrayāṃ gatiṃ caiva durvidām akṛtātmabhiḥ ||

Translation

భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ఓ రాజా! ఇప్పుడు నేను నీకు శుకదేవుని జన్మవృత్తాంతం, అతని యోగసాధన ఫలితం, అలాగే ఆత్మనిగ్రహం లేని వారికి గ్రహించుట కఠినమైన అతని పరమగతిని వివరిస్తాను.
