नारद–शुक संवादः

Impermanence, Svabhāva, and Śuka’s Resolve for Yoga

गुणक्षयत्वात्‌ प्रकृति: कर्तृत्वादक्षयं बुधा: । एषा ते<<न्वीक्षिकी विद्या चतुर्थी साम्परायिकी

guṇakṣayatvāt prakṛtiḥ kartṛtvād akṣayaṃ budhāḥ | eṣā te ’nvīkṣikī vidyā caturthī sāmparāyikī ||

గుణక్షయముచేత ప్రకృతి క్షయశీలమని చెప్పబడుతుంది; కర్తృత్వముచేత—అంతఃప్రేరకుడైనందున—బుధులు పురుషుని అక్షయుడని అంటారు. ఓ గంధర్వరాజా! పరమార్థానికి (మోక్షానికి) ఉపకరించే ఈ నాల్గవ ఆన్వీక్షికీ విద్యను నేను నీకు ఉపదేశించితిని.
