Janaka–Sulabhā Dialogue on Mokṣa and Non-attachment

वह यह जीवात्मा पूर्वोक्त प्रकारसे ही मुक्त हो सकता है, अन्यथा नहीं। यही विद्वानोंका निश्चय है। यह दूसरेसे मिलकर उसीका समानधर्मी हो जाता है ।। विशुद्धधर्मा शुद्धेन बुद्धेन च स बुद्धिमान । विमुक्तधर्मा मुक्तेन समेत्य पुरुषर्षभ

viśuddhadharmā śuddhena buddhena ca sa buddhimān | vimuktadharmā muktena sametya puruṣarṣabha ||

వసిష్ఠుడు పలికెను—ఓ పురుషర్షభా! ఈ జీవాత్మ ముందుగా చెప్పిన విధానంలోనే మోక్షాన్ని పొందగలదు; ఇతరథా కాదు—ఇదే పండితుల స్థిరనిశ్చయం. శుద్ధుడైన, జాగ్రత్బుద్ధి గలవానితో సంగమించగా అతని ధర్మం విశుద్ధమై బుద్ధిమంతుడవుతాడు; విముక్తునితో కలిసినప్పుడు విముక్తధర్మం కలుగుతుంది—ఇలా మోక్షసిద్ధి జరుగుతుంది.

Liberation is achieved only through the previously stated discipline: purification of one’s nature and association with the pure and awakened.
