ग्रन्थस्यार्थस्य पृष्ट: संस्तादृशो वक्तुमर्हति । यथा तत्त्वाभिगमनादर्थ तस्य स विन्दति
granthasyārthasya pṛṣṭaḥ saṃstādṛśo vaktum arhati | yathā tattvābhigamanād arthaṃ tasya sa vindati
వసిష్ఠుడు అన్నాడు—గ్రంథార్థం గురించి ప్రశ్నించబడినప్పుడు, సమర్థుడైన ఆచార్యుడు శ్రోతకు తగిన విధంగా చెప్పవలెను; ఎందుకంటే తత్త్వానికి చేర్చడం ద్వారానే ఆ వ్యక్తి గ్రంథం ఉద్దేశించిన అర్థాన్ని నిజంగా పొందగలడు.
