स पश्यति यथान्यायं स्पर्शान्‌ स्पृशति वा विभो | बुध्यमानो यथापूर्वमखिलेनेह भारत,प्रभो! भरतनन्दन! वह जाग्रत-अवस्थाकी भाँति स्वप्रमें भी यथोचित रीतिसे दृश्य वस्तुओंको देखता है तथा स्पृश्य पदार्थोंका स्पर्श करता है। सारांश यह कि सम्पूर्ण विषयोंका वह जाग्रत्‌के समान ही अनुभव करता है

sa paśyati yathānyāyaṃ sparśān spṛśati vā vibho | budhyamāno yathāpūrvam akhileneha bhārata, prabho! bharatanandana! |

ప్రభూ! భారతా! భరతవంశానందా! అతడు స్వప్నంలోనూ జాగ్రత్తావస్థ వలె యథోచితంగా దృశ్యాలను చూస్తాడు, స్పర్శ్యాలను స్పృశిస్తాడు; సారాంశంగా, ఇక్కడి సమస్త విషయాలను పూర్వంలాగానే అనుభవిస్తాడు।
