Chapter 29
शतं गवां सहस्नाणि शतमश्चृतराणि च । उत्थायोत्थाय वै प्रादात् सहस्नं परिवत्सरान्,वे हजार वर्षोतक प्रतिदिन सबेरे उठ-उठकर एक-एक लाख गौओं और सौ-सौ खच्चरोंका दान करते थे
śataṃ gavāṃ sahasrāṇi śatam aśvatarāṇi ca | utthāyotthāya vai prādāt sahasraṃ parivatsarān ||
వాయువు అన్నాడు—అతడు ప్రతిదినం మళ్లీ మళ్లీ లేచి, లక్షల సంఖ్యలో గోవులను, అలాగే వందల సంఖ్యలో ఖచ్చరాలను దానంగా ఇస్తూ ఉండేవాడు; ఈ దానవ్రతం వెయ్యి సంవత్సరాల పాటు కొనసాగింది.
