सर्वेडप्यभिमुखा: शूरा विजिता रणशोभिन: । नैषां कश्चित्‌ पृष्ठतो वा पलायन वापि पातित:

sarve 'py abhimukhāḥ śūrā vijitā raṇaśobhināḥ | naiṣāṃ kaścit pṛṣṭhato vā palāyana vāpi pātitaḥ ||

వారు అందరూ రణశోభను పెంచిన శూరులు; శత్రువును ఎదుర్కొని యుద్ధంలోనే జయింపబడ్డారు. వారిలో ఎవ్వరూ వెనుకనుండి దెబ్బతిని గానీ, పారిపోతూ గానీ పడలేదు.
