सा तु शापपरित्रस्ता तत्स्वभावानुवर्तिनी । मायूरजीर्णपर्णानां वस्त्र तस्याश्व वर्णितम्‌

Transliteration

sā tu śāpaparitrastā tatsvabhāvānuvartinī | māyūra-jīrṇa-parṇānāṃ vastraṃ tasyāś ca varṇitam ||

Translation

ఆమె శాపభయంతో వణికిపోతూ, భర్త స్వభావాన్నే సంపూర్ణంగా అనుసరించెను. ఆమె వస్త్రం నెమళ్ల పాతగా రాలిపోయిన ఈకలను కలిపి చేసినదని వర్ణించబడింది; వాటితోనే ఆమె తన దేహాన్ని కప్పుకొనెను.
