मोक्षोपाय-निर्णयः

Determination of the Means to Liberation

हुमत्सेन उवाच यत्र यत्रैव शक्‍्येरन्‌ संयन्तुं समये प्रजा: । स तावान प्रोच्यते धर्मो यावन्न प्रतिलड्घ्यते,द्ुमत्सेनने कहा--बेटा! जहाँ-जहाँ भी प्रजाको धर्मकी मर्यादाके भीतर नियमन्त्रित करके रखा जा सके वहाँ-वहाँ वैसा करना धर्म ही बताया जाता है। जबतक कि धर्मका उल्लंघन नहीं किया जाता (तबतक ही वहाँ ऐसी व्यवस्था कर लेनी चाहिये)

Humatsena uvāca | yatra yatraiva śakyeran saṁyantuṁ samaye prajāḥ | sa tāvān procyate dharmo yāvanna pratilaghyate ||

ద్యుమత్సేనుడు అన్నాడు—కుమారా! ఎక్కడెక్కడ, ఎప్పుడెప్పుడూ ప్రజలను నియమమర్యాదలలో నిలిపి నియంత్రించగలమో, ఆ ఏర్పాటే ధర్మమని చెప్పబడుతుంది—అది ధర్మాన్ని అతిక్రమించనంతవరకే.
