अदृश्यमानो रक्षोभिर्जलमध्ये वर्देस्तथा । अब्रूवंश्व पिशाचास्तं नैवं त्वं वक्तुमहसि,राक्षसोंसे अदृश्य रहकर जलयुक्त प्रदेशमें निवास करनेवाले जाजलि मुनिने जब इस प्रकार कहा, तब अदृश्य पिशाचोंने उनसे कहा, “मुने! तुम्हें ऐसी बात नहीं कहनी चाहिये

adṛśyamānā rakṣobhir jalāmadhye vṛdeḥ tathā | abruvaṃś ca piśācās taṃ naivaṃ tvaṃ vaktum arhasi ||

రాక్షసులకు కనబడకుండా జలసమృద్ధ ప్రాంతంలో నివసించుచున్న జాజలి ముని ఇలా పలికినప్పుడు, అదృశ్య పిశాచులు అతనితో అన్నారు—“మునీ! ఇలాంటి మాటలు పలకడం నీకు తగదు.”
