bhīṣma uvāca |

atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam |

tulādhārasya vākyāni dharme jājalinā saha ||

Translation

భీష్ముడు పలికెను—రాజా! ఇక్కడ కూడా నేను ఒక ప్రాచీన ఇతిహాసాన్ని ఉదాహరణగా చెబుతాను. అది జాజలితో ధర్మవిషయంలో వైశ్యుడు తులాధారుడు పలికిన వచనాల కథనం.
