Adhyāya 249 — Mṛtyu-prādurbhāvaḥ (The Manifestation of Death) / Restraint of Tejas and Ordered Saṃhāra

ततो द्रक्ष्यसि सर्वेषां भूतानां प्रभवाप्ययौ । एन॑ वै सर्वभूतेभ्यो विशिष्ट मेनिरे बुधा: । धर्म धर्मभृतां श्रेष्ठा मुनयस्तत्त्वदर्शिन:,ऐसा करनेसे तुम समस्त भूतोंके उत्पत्ति और प्रलयको देख सकोगे। धर्मात्माओंमें श्रेष्ठ तत्त्वदर्शी ज्ञानी मुनि इस धर्मको समस्त प्राणियोंके लिये सबसे श्रेष्ठ मानते हैं

Transliteration

tato drakṣyasi sarveṣāṁ bhūtānāṁ prabhavāpyayau | enaṁ vai sarvabhūtebhyo viśiṣṭaṁ menire budhāḥ | dharmaṁ dharmabhṛtāṁ śreṣṭhā munayas tattvadarśinaḥ |

Translation

అప్పుడు నీవు సమస్త భూతాల ఉద్భవమూ లయమూ దర్శించగలవు. జ్ఞానులు ఈ ధర్మాన్ని సమస్త ప్రాణులకన్నా విశిష్టమని భావించారు; ధర్మాన్ని ధరించే వారిలో శ్రేష్ఠులైన, తత్త్వదర్శి మునులు దీనినే పరమ మార్గమని గుర్తించారు.
