प्रयत्नेनापि चारक्षच्चित्तं पुत्रस्य वै पिता
Transliteration
prayatnenāpi cārakṣac cittaṃ putrasya vai pitā
Translation
శక్రుడు అన్నాడు—ఎంతగా ప్రయత్నించినా తండ్రి తన కుమారుని మనస్సును కాపాడలేక, స్థిరపరచలేకపోయాడు; ఎందుకంటే అంతరంగ దృఢనిశ్చయం, ఆత్మనిగ్రహం లేనప్పుడు తల్లిదండ్రుల సంరక్షణకూ హద్దులు ఉంటాయి।
