Attaining the Brahman-Station: The Vow of Equanimity in Mokṣadharma
वेद धर्मविधिं कृत्स्नं भूतानां चाप्यनित्यताम् । तस्माच्छक्र न शोचामि सर्व होवेदमन्तवत्,इन्द्र! मैं धर्मकी पूरी-पूरी विधि तथा सम्पूर्ण भूतोंकी अनित्यताको जानता हूँ। इसलिये, “यह सब नाशवान् है' ऐसा समझकर किसीके लिये शोक नहीं करता
veda dharmavidhiṁ kṛtsnaṁ bhūtānāṁ cāpy anityatām | tasmāc chākra na śocāmi sarvaṁ hy etad amantavat ||
హే శక్రా (ఇంద్రా)! నేను ధర్మవిధిని సంపూర్ణంగా, అలాగే సమస్త భూతాల అనిత్యతను తెలుసుకున్నాను; అందుచేత ‘ఇది అంతమయ్యేదే’ అని గ్రహించి నేను ఎవరి కోసం కూడా శోకించను।
