Vaiśampāyana uvāca: asmin vākyāntare vaktā devāsthāno mahātapāḥ | abhinītataraṃ vākyam ity uvāca yudhiṣṭhiram ||

వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—ఈ సంభాషణ మధ్యలో మహాతపస్వి దేవస్థానుడు వక్తగా ముందుకు వచ్చి, మరింత గంభీరార్థమయిన వాక్యాలతో యుధిష్ఠిరుని సంబోధించి, యజ్ఞకర్మలను యథావిధిగా ఆచరించమని ప్రేరేపించాడు।
