भीष्म उवाच इत्युक्तो भूगुणा राजन्‌ भरद्वाज: प्रतापवान्‌ | भृगुं परमधर्मात्मा विस्मित: प्रत्यपूजयत्‌

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | ity ukto bhṛguṇā rājan bharadvājaḥ pratāpavān | bhṛguṃ paramadharmātmā vismitaḥ pratyapūjayat ||

Translation

భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ఓ రాజా! భృగువు ఇలా పలికినప్పుడు పరమధర్మాత్ముడూ ప్రతాపవంతుడైన భారద్వాజుడు ఆశ్చర్యంతో నిండిపోయి భృగుమునిని భక్తితో యథావిధిగా పూజించి సత్కరించాడు।
