जपयोगयोः तुल्यफलनिर्णयः
Adhyāya 193: Adjudication of the Comparable Fruits of Japa and Yoga
जो लोभ और मोहसे युक्त हो एक दूसरेको खा जानेके लिये उद्यत रहते हैं, वे भी इसी लोकमें आवागमन करते रहते हैं, उत्तरदिशाके उत्कृष्ट लोकमें नहीं जाने पाते हैं ।।
bharadvāja uvāca | ye lobha-mohābhyāṁ yuktā anyonyam khāditum udyatāḥ santi, te ’pi asmin loke punar-āvartante; na tu uttaradiśaḥ utkṛṣṭaṁ lokaṁ gacchanti || ye gurūn paryupāsante niyatā brahmacāriṇaḥ, manasendriyāṇi saṁyamya; panthānaṁ sarva-lokānāṁ vijānanti manīṣiṇaḥ ||
భారద్వాజుడు పలికెను—లోభమోహములతో కూడి పరస్పరం భక్షించుటకు సిద్ధపడువారు ఈ లోకమందే జననమరణ చక్రములో తిరుగుదురు; ఉత్తరదిశయొక్క ఉత్తమ లోకమును పొందరు. అయితే నియమనిష్ఠ బ్రహ్మచారులై మనస్సు ఇంద్రియములను నియమించి గురువులను భక్తితో సేవించువారు—ఆ మునీశ్వరులు సమస్త లోకాల మార్గములను తెలిసికొందురు.
