Description of the Path of Meditation
सचेतनं जीवगुणं वदन्ति स चेष्टते चेष्टयते च सर्वम् । अतः: पर क्षेत्रविदो वदन्ति प्रावर्तयद् यो भुवनानि सप्त,चेतन जीवके सम्बन्धसे उपर्युक्त जीवके गुणोंको चेतनायुक्त कहते हैं-। वह जीव स्वयं चेष्टा करता है और सबसे चेष्टा करवाता है। शरीरके तत्त्वको जाननेवाले पुरुष इस क्षेत्रज्ञ आत्मासे उस परमात्माको श्रेष्ठ बताते हैं, जिसने भू:भुवः आदि सातों लोकोंको उत्पन्न किया है
sacetanam jīvaguṇaṃ vadanti sa ceṣṭate ceṣṭayate ca sarvam | ataḥ para kṣetravido vadanti prāvartayad yo bhuvanāni sapta ||
జీవగుణం చైతన్యసహితమని వారు చెబుతారు; అది తానే క్రియచేస్తుంది, సమస్తాన్ని క్రియలో నడిపిస్తుంది. అందువల్ల క్షేత్రతత్త్వాన్ని తెలిసినవారు అంటారు—క్షేత్రజ్ఞునికన్నా పరమైనవాడు, ఏడు లోకాలను ప్రవృత్తింపజేసిన పరమాత్మనే.
