Transliteration

bhṛgur uvāca—prajāvisargaṁ vividhaṁ mānaso manasāsṛjat | saṁrakṣaṇārthaṁ bhūtānāṁ sṛṣṭaṁ prathamataḥ jalam ||

Translation

భృగువు పలికెను—మనోజనుడైన ప్రభువు మనస్సు మాత్రబలముతో నానావిధ ప్రజాసృష్టిని చేసెను. భూతముల సంరక్షణార్థము ఆయన మొదటగా జలమును సృష్టించెను.
