भीष्म उवाच अनुयुक्त: स मेधावी लोकधर्मविधानवित्‌ । उवाच श्लक्ष्णया वाचा प्रह्मादमनपार्थया

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | anuyuktaḥ sa medhāvī lokadharmavidhānavit | uvāca ślakṣṇayā vācā prahrādam anapārthayā ||

Translation

భీష్ముడు పలికెను—రాజా! ప్రహ్లాదుడు ఈ విధంగా ప్రశ్నించగా, లోకధర్మ విధానాలను బాగా తెలిసిన ఆ మేధావి ముని ప్రహ్లాదునితో మృదువైన, అర్థవంతమైన, యథార్థ వాక్యాలతో ఇలా చెప్పెను।
