Adhyāya 174: Karma as an inescapable companion (कर्मानुगमन-उपदेश)
सखायं मे सुदयितं गौतमं जीवयेत्युत । तदनन्तर राजधर्मा बकने इन्द्रको प्रणाम करके कहा--'सुरेश्वर! यदि आपकी मुझपर कृपा है तो मेरे प्रिय मित्र गौतमको भी जीवित कर दीजिये”
sakhāyaṃ me sudayitaṃ gautamaṃ jīvayety uta |
భీష్ముడు అన్నాడు— “మీరు నాకు ఈ వరం ప్రసాదిస్తే, నా అత్యంత ప్రియ మిత్రుడు గౌతముడికీ పునర్జీవనం ప్రసాదించండి.”
