निर्वेदोपदेशः (Nirveda-Upadeśa) — Maṅki’s Dispassion and the Limits of Wealth-Seeking
त॑ काश्यपो<ब्रवीत् प्रीतो नोत्कण्ठां कर्तुमहसि । कृतकार्यो द्विजश्रेष्ठ सद्रव्यो यास्यसे गृहान्,यह सुनकर राजधमनि प्रसन्न होकर कहा--'द्विजश्रेष्ठ] अब आप वहाँतक जानेके लिये उत्सुक न हों, यहीं आपका काम हो जायगा। आप यहींसे धन लेकर अपने घरको जाइयेगा
taṁ kāśyapo 'bravīt prīto notkaṇṭhāṁ kartum arhasi | kṛtakāryo dvijaśreṣṭha sadravyo yāsyase gṛhān |
ఇది విని కాశ్యపుడు సంతోషించి అన్నాడు—“ద్విజశ్రేష్ఠా! అంత దూరం వెళ్లాలనే ఆతురత అవసరం లేదు. మీ కార్యం ఇక్కడే సిద్ధిస్తుంది. ఇక్కడినుంచే ధనం తీసుకొని కృతకార్యుడై గృహానికి తిరిగి వెళ్తారు.”

Kāśyapa, pleased, reassures a brāhmaṇa addressed as ‘best of the twice-born’ that he need not proceed further; his objective will be met on the spot, and he may go home with wealth, his task completed.
