विश्वामित्र उवाच अगस्त्येनासुरो जग्धो वातापि: क्षुधितेन वै । अहमापदगत: क्षुत्तो भक्षयिष्ये श्वजाघनीम्
Viśvāmitra uvāca: Agastyenāsuro jagdho Vātāpiḥ kṣudhitenā vai | aham āpadgataḥ kṣuttaḥ bhakṣayiṣye śvajāghanīm ||
విశ్వామిత్రుడు అన్నాడు—ఆకలితో ఉన్న మహర్షి అగస్త్యుడు వాతాపి అనే అసురుణ్ణి కూడా తిన్నాడు. నేనూ ఆకలివల్ల ఘోర ఆపదలో పడ్డాను; కాబట్టి ఈ కుక్క తొడను తప్పక తింటాను.
