Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)
भीष्म उवाच सैवमुक्त्वा शकुनिका ब्रह्मुदत्तं नराधिप । राजानं समनुज्ञाप्य जगामाभीप्सितां दिशम्,भीष्मजी कहते हैं--नरेश्वर! राजा ब्रह्मदत्तसे ऐसा कहकर वह पूजनी चिड़िया उनसे विदा ले अभीष्ट दिशाको चली गयी
bhīṣma uvāca | saivam uktvā śakunikā brahmadattaṃ narādhipa | rājānaṃ samanujñāpya jagāmābhīpsitāṃ diśam ||
భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ఓ నరాధిపా! రాజు బ్రహ్మదత్తునకు అలా చెప్పి, ఆ పూజనీయ పక్షి ఆయన అనుమతి తీసుకొని వీడ్కోలు చెప్పి తనకు ఇష్టమైన దిశగా వెళ్లిపోయింది।
