Apaddharma Determination: Dialogue of Viśvāmitra and the Śvapaca
कि सौम्य नातित्वरसे कि कृतार्थोडवमन्यसे । छिन्धि पाशानमित्रघ्न पुरा श्वपच एति च,'सौम्य! तुम जल्दी क्यों नहीं करते हो? क्या तुम्हारा काम बन गया, इसलिये मेरी अवहेलना करते हो? शत्रुसूदन! देखो, अब चाण्डाल आ रहा होगा। उसके आनेसे पहले ही मेरे बन्धनोंको काट दो”
ki saumya nātitvarase ki kṛtārtho ’vamanyase | chindhi pāśān amitraghna purā śvapaca eti ca ||
“సౌమ్యా! నీవెందుకు తొందరపడటం లేదు? నీ పని పూర్తయిందని నన్ను నిర్లక్ష్యం చేస్తున్నావా? శత్రుహంతా! శ్వపచుడు (చండాలుడు) రాకముందే ఈ బంధనాలను కోసివేయి.”
