यो विश्वसिति मित्रेषु न विश्वसिति शत्रुषु । अर्थयुक्तिमविज्ञाय य: प्रीती कुरुते मन:
yo viśvasiti mitreṣu na viśvasiti śatruṣu | arthayuktim avijñāya yaḥ prītiṃ kurute manaḥ ||
మిత్రులపై నమ్మకం పెట్టి, శత్రువులపై నమ్మకం పెట్టకపోయినా—లాభనష్టాల యుక్తిని గ్రహించకుండా మనసు మమకారం కట్టుకుంటే, అతడు వివేకం లేకుండా ప్రవర్తించినవాడే.
