मधुमांसैर्मूलफलैरन्नैरुच्चावचैरपि । सत्कृत्य भोजयामास मान्यान् परिचचार च,वह निषाद मधु, मांस, फल, मूल तथा नाना प्रकारके अन्नोंद्वारा माता-पिताको सत्कारपूर्वक भोजन कराता था तथा दूसरे-दूसरे माननीय पुरुषोंकी भी सेवा-पूजा किया करता था
madhumāṁsair mūlaphalair annair uccāvacair api | satkṛtya bhojayāmāsa mānyān paricacāra ca ||
ఆ నిషాదుడు తేనె, మాంసం, మూలాలు-ఫలాలు, ఇంకా నానావిధమైన ఆహారాలతో గౌరవపూర్వకంగా తన తల్లిదండ్రులకు భోజనం పెట్టేవాడు; అలాగే ఇతర గౌరవనీయులకూ సేవ-పరిచర్య చేసేవాడు.
