Āpad-dharma and Discernment in Livelihood (आपद्धर्मे विज्ञानबलम्)

सतं विदित्वा ब्रद्मर्षियममागतमोजसा । प्राउजलि: प्रयतो भूत्वा उपविष्टस्तपोधन:,ब्रह्मर्षि गौतमने वहाँ आये हुए यमराजको उनके तेजसे ही जान लिया। फिर वे तपोधन मुनि हाथ जोड़ संयतचित्त हो उनके पास जा बैठे

sataṁ viditvā brahmarṣiyamam āgatam ojasā | prāñjaliḥ prayato bhūtvā upaviṣṭas tapodhanaḥ ||

తపోధనుడైన బ్రహ్మర్షి గౌతముడు, అతని తేజస్సుతోనే వచ్చినవాడు యముడని గ్రహించాడు. అప్పుడు సంయమంతో అంజలి ఘటించి అతని సమీపంలో కూర్చుండెను.
