अकस्मात् प्रक्रिया नृगामकस्माच्चापकर्षणम् । शुभाशुभे महत्त्वं च प्रकार्तु बुद्धिलाघवम्,“मनुष्यके उत्कर्ष और अपकर्ष (उन्नति और अवनति) अकस्मात् होते हैं, किसीका भला करके बुरा करना और उसे महत्त्व देकर नीचे गिराना, यह सब ओछी बुद्धिका परिणाम है”
akasmāt prakriyā nṝṇām akasmāc cāpakarṣaṇam | śubhāśubhe mahattvaṃ ca prakartuṃ buddhilāghavam ||
మనుష్యుల ఉత్కర్షం, అపకర్షం అకస్మాత్తుగా జరుగుతాయి. మేలు చేసి తర్వాత కీడు చేయడం, ఆ కీడును పెద్దదిగా చేసి ఎవరికైనా పతనం కలిగించడం— ఇవన్నీ చేసేవాడి నీచమైన, తేలికబుద్ధి సూచకాలు.
