बभूवामर्षितो राजा वध॑ चास्य व्यरोचयत्‌ । सियारकी यह चपलता सुनकर शेर गुस्सेसे भर गया। उससे यह बात सही नहीं गयी; अतः मृगराजने उसका वध करनेका ही विचार कर लिया

Transliteration

babhūvāmṛṣito rājā vadhaṃ cāsya vyarocayat |

Translation

నక్క యొక్క ఈ చపలత్వాన్ని విని రాజు (మృగరాజు) ఆగ్రహంతో మండిపోయాడు; ఆ మాట అతనికి సహించలేక, అతన్ని వధించాలనే నిర్ణయానికి వచ్చాడు.
