इति दुष्टस्य विज्ञानमुक्त ते सुरसत्तम । निशम्य शास्त्रतत्त्वार्थ यथावदमरेश्व॒र

Transliteration

iti duṣṭasya vijñānam ukta te surasattama | niśamya śāstra-tattvārthaṃ yathāvad amareśvara ||

Translation

భీష్ముడు పలికెను—ఓ దేవశ్రేష్ఠా, ఓ అమరేశ్వరా! శాస్త్ర తత్త్వార్థాన్ని యథావిధిగా పరిశీలించి, దుష్టుని గుర్తించుటకు కావలసిన వివేచనను మరియు ఈ లక్షణాలను నేను నీకు వివరించితిని।
