काल प्राप्प महाबाहो न कश्िदतिवर्तते । “महाबाहो! मैं एक दिन ग्यारह अक्षौहिणी सेनाका स्वामी था; परंतु आज इस दशामें आ पड़ा हूँ। वास्तवमें कालको पाकर कोई उसका उल्लंघन नहीं कर सकता

Transliteration

kālaṃ prāpya mahābāho na kaścid ativartate |

Translation

సంజయుడు పలికెను—ఓ మహాబాహో! కాలం వచ్చెదనగా ఎవ్వరూ దానిని అతిక్రమించలేరు. ఒకనాడు పదకొండు అక్షౌహిణీ సేనలకు అధిపతిగా ఉన్నవాడైనా నేడు ఈ స్థితికి దిగజారుతాడు; నిజంగా కాలవిధిని ఎవరూ లంఘించలేరు.
