अधर्मेण जयं लब्ध्वा को नु हृष्येत पण्डित:

adharmeṇa jayaṁ labdhvā ko nu hṛṣyet paṇḍitaḥ

సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—అధర్మమార్గంలో జయం పొందిన తరువాత ఏ పండితుడు నిజంగా హర్షిస్తాడు? ధర్మమూ దాని ఫలితమూ తెలిసినవానికి, అధర్మజితమైన విజయం నిజమైన సంతృప్తికి కారణం కాదు।
