असूयां पाण्डुपुत्रेषु न भवान् कर्तुमहति । 'यह सब अपने ही अपराधोंका फल है, ऐसा जानकर आपको पाण्डवोंके प्रति दोषदृष्टि नहीं करनी चाहिये ।। ५० ई ।। कुलं वंशश्व पिण्डाश्व यच्च पुत्रकृतं फलम्
asūyāṃ pāṇḍuputreṣu na bhavān kartum arhati |
వైశంపాయనుడు అన్నాడు—పాండుపుత్రుల పట్ల మీరు అసూయ గానీ దోషదృష్టి గానీ పెట్టకూడదు. ఇవన్నీ స్వకృత అపరాధాల ఫలమని గ్రహించి, పాండవులపై నింద చూపు వేయకండి.
