गान्धारी-प्रशमनम् — Pacification of Gāndhārī and Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel at Hāstinapura
वायुदेव उवाच अस्त्रैरबहुविधैर्दग्ध: पूर्वमेवायमर्जुन । मदधिषछितत्वात् समरे न विशीर्ण: परंतप,श्रीकृष्णने कहा--शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले अर्जुन! यह रथ नाना प्रकारके अस्त्रोंद्वारा पहले ही दग्ध हो चुका था; परंतु मेरे बैठे रहनेके कारण समरांगणमें भस्म होकर गिर न सका
vāyudeva uvāca | astrair bahuvidhair dagdhaḥ pūrvam evāyam arjuna | madadhiṣṭhitvāt samare na viśīrṇaḥ parantapa ||
వాయుదేవుడు పలికెను—శత్రుసంతాపకుడా అర్జునా! ఈ రథము అనేక విధమైన అస్త్రాలతో ముందే దగ్ధమైంది; కాని నా అధిష్ఠానము (ఆశ్రయము) వలన యుద్ధభూమిలో భస్మమై కూలిపోలేదు।
