तस्मिंस्तदा सम्प्रहारे दारुणे संकुले भृशम्‌ । उभावपि परिश्रान्तौ युध्यमानावरिंदमौ,उस समय उस अत्यन्त भयंकर घमासान युद्धमें शत्रुओंका दमन करनेवाले वे दोनों वीर परस्पर युद्ध करते हुए बहुत थक गये

tasmiṁs tadā samprahāre dāruṇe saṅkule bhṛśam | ubhāv api pariśrāntau yudhyamānāv arindamau ||

ఆ సమయంలో ఆ అత్యంత దారుణమైన, ఘోరంగా గందరగోళమైన సమరంలో శత్రువులను దమనించే ఆ ఇద్దరు వీరులు యుద్ధం చేస్తూ చేస్తూ బాగా అలసిపోయారు.
