Gadāyuddhe Kṛṣṇopadeśaḥ (Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel in the Mace-Duel) — Śalya-parva 57
समागम्य ततो भूयो भ्रातरौ बलिनां वरौ । अन्योन्यस्यान्तरप्रेप्सू प्रचक्राते$न्तरं प्रति,बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ उन दोनों भाइयोंमें जब पुनः भिड़न्त हुई तो दोनों ही दोनोंके चूकनेका अवसर देखते हुए पैंतरे बदलने लगे
samāgamya tato bhūyo bhrātarau balināṃ varau | anyonyasyāntaraprepsū pracakrāte 'ntaraṃ prati ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—ఆపై ఆ ఇద్దరు సోదరులు, బలవంతులలో శ్రేష్ఠులు, మళ్లీ సమరంలో ఎదురెదురుగా కలిశారు. ఒకరి లోపాన్ని మరొకరు వెతుక్కొనుచూ, పాయింట్లు మార్చుకుంటూ చుట్టూ తిరుగుతూ అవకాశం కోసం చూచుచుండిరి.
