अन्तरिक्षचर: श्रीमान् कलशं गृहा[ देवल: । यही सोचते हुए श्रीमान् देवलमुनि कलश हाथमें लेकर आकाशमार्गसे समुद्रतटकी ओर चल दिये
antarikṣacaraḥ śrīmān kalaśaṃ gṛhā devalaḥ | iti cintayan śrīmān devalamuniḥ kalaśaṃ hastena gṛhītvā ākāśamārgeṇa samudrataṭaṃ prati jagāma |
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—ఆకాశంలో సంచరించే శ్రీమాన్ దేవలముని ఒక కలశాన్ని తీసుకున్నాడు. అలా మనసులో నిశ్చయించుకొని, చేతిలో కలశం ధరించి ఆకాశమార్గమున సముద్రతీరమునకు బయలుదేరెను.
