अध्याय ४ — दुर्योधनस्य असंधि-निश्चयः
Duryodhana’s Refusal of Reconciliation
चरन्तीव महाविद्युन्मुष्णन्ती नयनप्रभाम् । अलातमिव चाविद्धं गाण्डीवं समदृश्यत
carantīva mahāvidyun muṣṇantī nayanaprabhām | alātam iva cāviddhaṃ gāṇḍīvaṃ samadṛśyata ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—అర్జునుని చేతిలో గాండీవము మహావిద్యుత్తులా మెరుస్తూ చూపుల కాంతినే దోచుకొనినట్లు కనబడెను; అలాగే వలయముగా తిప్పబడిన అగ్నికణమువలె అది వేగముగా చక్రంలా తిరుగుచున్నట్లు దర్శనమిచ్చెను.
