अध्याय ३: कृपस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति नीत्युपदेशः
Kṛpa’s Counsel to Duryodhana
भीममभ्यद्रवन् संख्ये पतजड़ा इव पावकम् । उस समय अपने प्राणों और बन्धु-बान्धवोंका मोह छोड़कर रोष और आवेशमें भरे हुए पैदल सैनिक युद्धस्थलमें भीमसेनकी ओर उसी प्रकार दौड़े, जैसे पतंग चलती हुई अतापर टूट पड़ते हैं
bhīmam abhyadravan saṅkhye pataṅgā iva pāvakam |
సంజయుడు పలికెను—ఆ సమయంలో క్రోధావేశాలతో నిండిన ఆ పాదాతులు ప్రాణమోహాన్ని, బంధు-బాంధవాసక్తిని విడిచి, యుద్ధభూమిలో భీమసేనుని వైపు అగ్నిలోకి దూకే పతంగాల వలె దూసుకొచ్చారు.
