एवमुक्त्वा महाराज सहदेवो महाबल: । संक़्रुद्धो रणशार्दूलो वेगेनाभिजगाम तम्,महाराज! ऐसा कहकर रणक्षेत्रमें सिंहके समान पराक्रम दिखानेवाले महाबली सहदेवने अत्यन्त कुपित हो बड़े वेगसे उसपर आक्रमण किया
evam uktvā mahārāja sahadevo mahābalaḥ | saṅkruddho raṇaśārdūlo vegenābhijagāma tam ||
సంజయుడు అన్నాడు— “మహారాజా! అలా చెప్పి మహాబలుడు సహదేవుడు యుద్ధంలో వ్యాఘ్రంలా క్రోధంతో మండిపడి మహావేగంగా అతనిపై దూసుకెళ్లాడు.”
