परिवत्रू रणे भीम॑ किरन्तो विविधान् शरान् । उस वीरके मारे जानेपर उसके सेवकोंने नाना प्रकारके बाणोंकी वर्षा करते हुए रणभूमिमें भीमसेनको सब ओरसे घेर लिया
sañjaya uvāca | parivatrū raṇe bhīmaṃ kiranto vividhān śarān | tasmin vīrake māre jāne tasya sevakā nānāprakārakabāṇavarṣaṃ kurvanto raṇabhūmau bhīmasenaṃ sarvataḥ paryavārayam |
సంజయుడు పలికెను—యుద్ధంలో వారు నానావిధమైన బాణాలను కురిపిస్తూ భీముని అన్ని వైపులా చుట్టుముట్టిరి. ఆ వీరుడు హతుడైన తరువాత, అతని సేవకులు వివిధ శరవర్షం కురిపిస్తూ రణభూమిలో భీమసేనుని చుట్టూ అన్ని దిక్కుల నుండీ ముట్టడించిరి।
