ततो नृपतयो वीरा: स्थास्यन्ति मम शासने । “अकेला कर्ण ही मेरे साथ रहकर समस्त पाण्डवोंको मार डालेगा। फिर सारे वीर नरेश मेरी आज्ञाके अधीन हो जायँगे

Transliteration

tato nṛpatayo vīrāḥ sthāsyanti mama śāsane |

Translation

అప్పుడు వీర నృపతులు నా ఆజ్ఞకు లోబడి నిలుస్తారు. (అతడు ఇలా ఊహించుకున్నాడు:) ‘కర్ణుడు ఒక్కడే నా పక్కన ఉండి సమస్త పాండవులను సంహరిస్తాడు; ఆపై వీర రాజులందరూ నా అధికారంలోకి వస్తారు.’
