संशान्तमपि मद्रेशं लक्ष्मीनैंव विमुड्चति । शक्तिने राजा शल्यके वक्षःस्थलको विदीर्ण कर डाला था

Transliteration

saṁśāntam api madreśaṁ lakṣmī naiva vimucyati |

Translation

శక్తి దెబ్బతో మద్రరాజు శల్యుని వక్షస్థలం చీలిపోయింది; ఆయన ఆయుధాలు, ధ్వజం చిత్తుచిత్తుగా పడి చెల్లాచెదురయ్యాయి; ఆయన శాశ్వతంగా నిశ్చలుడయ్యాడు—అయినా మద్రాధిపతిని లక్ష్మి (రాజశ్రీ) విడిచిపెట్టలేదు।
