प्रायशो 5भिमुख: शत्रून् धर्मेण पुरुषर्षभ । पुरुषप्रवर गान्धारीनन्दन! आप धन्य हैं, क्योंकि युद्धमें प्राय: धर्मपूर्वक शत्रुओंका सामना करते हुए मारे गये हैं
sañjaya uvāca | prāyaśo 'bhimukhaḥ śatrūn dharmeṇa puruṣarṣabha | puruṣapravara gāndhārīnandana tvam dhanyaḥ asi, yasmād yuddhe prāyaḥ dharmapūrvakaṃ śatrūn abhimukhaṃ kṛtvā hataḥ asi ||
పురుషర్షభా! మీరు ఎక్కువగా ధర్మానుసారంగా శత్రువులను ఎదురెదురుగా ఎదుర్కొని యుద్ధం చేసి అలాగే వీరగతిని పొందారు. పురుషప్రవరా, గాంధారీనందనా! మీరు ధన్యులు; ఎందుకంటే యుద్ధంలో ప్రాయశః ధర్మపూర్వకంగా శత్రువులను ముఖాముఖి ఎదుర్కొంటూ మీరు హతులయ్యారు।
