Brahmaśirastra-pratisaṃhāra — Retraction and redirection of the supreme weapon

Sauptika Parva, Adhyāya 15

यदत्र हितमस्माकं लोकानां चैव सर्वथा । भवन्तौ देवसंकाशौ तथा सम्मन्तुमर्हत:,“आप दोनों देवताके तुल्य हैं; अतः इस समय जैसा करनेसे हमारा और सब लोगोंका सर्वथा हित हो, उसीके लिये आप हमें सलाह दें”

yad atra hitam asmākaṁ lokānāṁ caiva sarvathā | bhavantau devasaṅkāśau tathā sammantum arhataḥ ||

ఈ సందర్భంలో మనకూ సమస్త ప్రజలకూ ఏది సంపూర్ణంగా హితకరమో—దేవసమానులైన మీరు ఇద్దరూ—అదే ఆలోచించి మాకు తగిన ఉపదేశం చేయవలెను.
